Welcome to Ryde United Reformed Church
Corbett/Upton Road, Haylands, Ryde, Isle of Wight.
Sunday
10.30am Morning service, incl. Junior Family Church & Creche.
6.30pm Evening Service (1st, 2nd, 3rd and 5th Sundays)
On the 4th Sunday we join with other fellowships in the CTRA (Churches Together) area and, by use of a rota, we get to experience each others tradition of worship on this evening. The venue is announced in our Church Magazine and in the weekly notice sheet.
On the 1st Sunday of each month, after the Communion Service, we have a pre-bookable lunch in Beechgrove House - a full cooked meal, incl, sweet and hot drinks. There is a limit of 25 people (because of the size of the rooms) If you wish to partake you will need to attend Church and ensure your name is on the list It is strictly first come, first served, according to the list.
Note: The 1st Sunday morning is a communion service, the 2nd is a time to bring your own sermon text and, at the point in the service where the sermon is preached, you may offer your text, or ask your question, and it will be the subject of the sermon, there and then! Do not offer genealogies or other lists as sermon texts - they are not suitable material.
Communion is held on the 3rd Sunday in the evening worship time.
